A portion of what guests spend at Rhinory reaches the Foundation, and the Foundation sends it where rhinos actually live. Some of it has a name.
Born to Lola at Ol Pejeta on January 29, 2025, her mother’s first surviving calf. Our members chose her name; it means “My Light.” It now sits permanently in the Kenya Wildlife Service database, along with a five-year commitment to her protection.
A Southern White calf, orphaned in October 2024 after a hyena attack. Care for Wild in South Africa, the world’s largest rhino orphan sanctuary, took him in. Our members adopted him outright: his feed, his care, and the people who raise him.
Rhinory is a working winery and rhino sanctuary in Texas Hill Country. The Foundation is the part of it that leaves the property. Blake, a Southern White Rhino of about 4,100 pounds, is the living link between the two. Taste beside him, and part of your afternoon travels a very long way.
