Tasting Notes: This charming South African sparkler greets the nose with bright, inviting aromatics—sun-ripened citrus, juicy pear, and a cascade of tropical notes such as pineapple core, lychee, and a hint of mango blossom. There’s an immediate sense of generosity to the fruit, lifted by the Sauvignon Blanc’s subtle floral accent.

Food & Wine Pairing:  Great with sushi, especially spicy tuna roll, or queso fundido with chorizo.

The Region

Stellenbosch
Western Cape
South Africa

South Africa’s most celebrated wine district, about 45 km east of Cape Town, spread across mountain foothills and valleys with granite-rich, ancient, well-draining soils and eight distinct wards. High sunshine, moderating sea and mountain influences, and varied terroir make it the country’s benchmark for structured, cellar-worthy reds. Cabernet Sauvignon is the most-planted grape and its calling card — in varietal and Bordeaux-blend form — alongside Merlot, Syrah, Pinotage, Chenin Blanc, and Chardonnay.
