Tasting Notes: Elegant and restrained, the nose opens with fresh snap pea layered over warm mineral tones of sun-heated sand. The palate is taut and precise, driven by vibrant acidity and focused citrus elements of kaffir lime and lemongrass. Notes of crushed quartz and flint underscore the wine’s structure, leading to a linear, mineral-laced finish with excellent clarity and persistence.

Pairing Suggestions: Lemon-Herb Grilled Chicken • Seafood Ceviche • Goat Cheese Salad with Citrus Vinaigrette

More Information: This Sauvignon Blanc is sourced from select vineyards across Stellenbosch, where diverse soils, cool coastal influences, and refreshing night temperatures help produce vibrant, expressive fruit. The grapes were harvested in the early morning over a two-week period to capture a wide range of flavor development, then gently handled and fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to preserve the wine’s freshness and aromatic purity. After fermentation, the wine was aged six months on its lees, adding texture and balance before bottling. The result is a refined, modern Sauvignon Blanc that highlights both the character of Stellenbosch and the precision of thoughtful winemaking.

The Region

Stellenbosch
Western Cape
South Africa

South Africa’s most celebrated wine district, about 45 km east of Cape Town, spread across mountain foothills and valleys with granite-rich, ancient, well-draining soils and eight distinct wards. High sunshine, moderating sea and mountain influences, and varied terroir make it the country’s benchmark for structured, cellar-worthy reds. Cabernet Sauvignon is the most-planted grape and its calling card — in varietal and Bordeaux-blend form — alongside Merlot, Syrah, Pinotage, Chenin Blanc, and Chardonnay.
